Stars and Strikes Bowling for Vets in November 2023 was our first ever bowling event, and a total blast. We raised money for the Omaha chapter of the Women Marines Association.
The Dig Deep Volleyball Tournament in August 2022 was so much fun we did it again in August 2023 - both times raising money for the Ukrainian War Victim Relief Fund.
Halloween Party and Costume Contest in October 2021 - All the boys and ghouls got together for a fundraiser for Christmas gifts for adopted families.
HOT DOG DELIVERY SERVICE!
In October of 2020, we couldn't have our annual hot dog stand. But you still wanted a tasty hotdog lunch, and we still needed to kick start donations for our Christmas adoptions. (Also, we love our hotdog costumes.) So we took orders and had an excellent afternoon dressed like hotdogs and delivering Hot Dog Meal Kits all over Omaha!
October 2019: Chili Cook Off & Polka Party.
Eat, drink, & dance! All proceeds are going to help us raise money to adopt seniors from the Douglas Co. Health Center and families from The Salvation Army for Christmas.
Congrats to our winners and a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out. We raised just over $700 for our cause.
In 2018, Cheer Up! hosted a charity pool party and cannonball contest to benefit Gotta Be Me - an Omaha non-profit that promotes the inclusion of adults with disabilities into our communities.
In 2017, Cheer Up! hosted Play for Pink, a volleyball tournament benefiting Project Pink'd - dedicated to "helping survivors thrive" in the Omaha/CB area.

Holy moly! Sooooo much chili, and so much beer! Everybody had a great time tasting and voting and we are happy to say that Craig Ryan makes award-winning chili - and is now $150 richer.
2014 Feed Your Heart Chili Cook-Off
(fundraiser to bring the senior citizen residents at Douglas County a fun daytime outing - Who doesn't need a little extra cheer in their golden days?)
18 spicy or pain old delicious pots of chili and one drained-to-the-last-drop keg of free beer all culminated in Melody Galvan's crowning as the Chili Champ, and she won $150.
2013 Feed Your Heart Chili Cook-Off
(fundraiser to adopt 10 kids from the Salvation Army for Christmas - providing new clothes, awesome gifts, and enough groceries to keep bellies filled for weeks)
16 mouthwatering crock pots of homemade chili scraped clean and a keg of beer later, Shannon Lee. walked away with $150 and title of "Tastiest Chili in Omaha."

Celebrity judges Jackie McDuffy of the Omaha Heart, Chris Chapman from Star 104.5, and a couple of the lovely ladies from the Omaha Beef Prime Dancers scored on splash and showmanship to award Kris R. and Alli R. prizes. Congrats to the winners and thanks to the judges!

Be a Do-Gooder, Drink Beer
(raised money, canned goods, and baby stuff for The Bethlehem House)
Music was loud, people were giving, and the beer was flowing. We raffled off more than 10 prizes to lucky winners and managed to drink a keg in under 2 hours!
